OOOOH sorry, I'm retarded. The moss rocks I actually found at Joann also, and I think they're awsome. They come in different sizes in a single pack so they're pretty useful for decorating.

Yes, Jo-ann is a fabric and crafts store. You can find a store locator on their website - it's a really helpful store for this kind of thing, because they have all sorts of branches, fake plants/flowers, rocks, and foam for decorating. And of course, fabric.
I actually plan on decorating my little juvies' cages the total opposite - I want to do a middle eastern theme, so I'm going to be going there to find cool ethnic looking fabric and paint haha. I think that should be fun to do also. But yea, I recomend that store a lot for any sort of project you wanna do.

Oh, well I know of, and have been to a "Joann Fabrics" store, in Portland. I don't think there is any around here though. I'll go to the store locater.

Not yet, it's still airing out a bit so the smell from all the paint fades. But I'll post photos as soon as they're in

I just have to say, Olimpia, your background is amazing! Great Job! I wish I could make something like that. I think it looks really relaxing to look at. Man, my tanks are so boring compared to most of the people on here. lol

Lol I think most people's start off like that and then we just get inspired by other people's work and change our own tanks. The best part is that everyone uses stuff as simple as foam, so there's no reason that you can't start cutting foam and come up with something awesome.

I really want to make one of these but i am afraid my leos will fall off one of the higher ledges. Do you guys ever worry about your leos falling. Oh and Olimpia what were the lengths a leo can easily climb

What I did (I don't know how much you can tell from the photo) was make every ledge stick out a little further than the one above it. I figured if one started to fall from a high ledge it would only fall to the one below it, instead of all the way to the ground. I finally put my large male in this tank and as far as I've seen, he has no interest in climbing up anything. So all the pretty ledges are not getting used haha.
Do you mean like the heights? I tried to calculate everything for a gecko averaging 6 inches long. So I tried to make all the places to climb about 3-4 inches high, so they could just reach up and climb up. You'd be surprised how good they are at climbing though!

Aww really? That stinks. I don't know if they'd have it (or if you'd be willing to pay shipping) but you might be able to find stuff on their website. Or you know what, I'd check Ebay. Anything you'd ever want to find is on Ebay, and you can usually find it pretty cheap.
