How does her poop look, what are her temps. in the cage on both sides, how long has she not been eating? If her poop is smeary, she may very well have a parasite. She doesn't look good, I suggest taking her to a qualified herp vet asap. Best of luck with her!

Def. looks like there may be some parasite or something internaly wrong, a vet is def. needed here! But it would be good to know what type of setup you have, temps, substrate and such.

I think you have taken over a very very sick gecko, and I'm not sure you can get her better.
PLEASE take it to the vet at once.

would recommend that you get her seen by a rep vet asap and if possible take a fecal sample with you for testing ~ if you go here -> RCVS and put in your post code it'll give you a list of vets near you ;)

the temps are 30 degrees c in the hot spot and 20 in the cold spot, in a month ive only seen her eat about 3 times, and that was 1 tiny locust at a time

i was using sand (bad idea i now know) but the guy at the shop said it would be okay, i changed to a calcium sand yesterday

i have another leo in there with her, i got them at the same time and rambo (thats her name) was only a teeny bit bigger than blizzle when i got them, she is now alot bigger, i thought seperating them would be a good idea but blizzle still never ate, also she doesnt explore the viv like rambo does, she just hides all day and all night

well the warm side temps need to come up to about 32.2-35 degrees c and even you cold is a little too cool (but that is not a really big deal). Calcium sand is just as bad as regular sand, both can cause impaction. You want to use paper towels, repti-carpet, or tile. Impaction could have to do with he eating problem, has she been pooping regularly? You do need to seperate because it sounds like rambo may be bullying her for food even if you dont see it. Also if lethel blizzle does have some type of parasite you dont want rambo to catch it.

i was scared it was too cold in there so i put one of my hides over the heat matt, its about 35 degrees in there, and thats were blizzle stays for most of the time, i seperate them at feeding times but i cant permenatly since i only have 1 viv and no money for a second one, and she has been pooping regulary, ive noticed that her stomach is quite fat but her legs and tail are really skinny

Force feeding wax worms isn't going to give it the nutrition it needs to survive. Take a look at Marcia's Slurry recipe (in a sticky at the top of this section) and see if you can find similar ingredients to make it. If the gecko is even skinnier that it was in that photo the outlook probably isn't great.

She reminds me of a gecko that has internal parasites, but I could be wrong. You will need to take her to a vet because only medication can save her if that is the case. Sometimes even then, the medication fails to treat the animal fully.

Agreed with the slurry, I meant to mention that earlier. Switch them both off the sand though, it is really the best for them and it is a lot easier to change paper towels or wipe tile than it is to change sand and cheaper to! :main_thumbsup:

I'm very sorry to say that after looking at the last picture I dont have the best outlook for her.

Have you separated them? If you haven't you should do that right away.

Your gecko is very, very skinny. If you're going to force feed anything I agree w/ Mel & Keith, go for the slurry. On top of all of that, I know there's a lot of people out there who are not fans of deworming, BUT....considering the fact the two of them have been together, you might want to deworm BOTH geckos to make sure your healthy gecko is clean.

Also, after separating them, I would bleach out the cage that they've been staying in, and rinse it really well.

I wish the best for you.

i know =[

listen to this guys, does this make you as angry as it made me??

i showed my parents this forum, i showed them your feedback, i explained to them what your saying

do you know what they said?

they said to leave it, they said that if she dies i can buy another one, they said going to the vet would be way more expensive than buying a new one

='[ i cant believe them, im sure you all understand the emotional link i have with both rambo and blizzle
