Hi everyone i'm Leah. I've only owned Leopard geckos for the last 2 months. A friend gave me his because he was moving away and couldn't take him and then i got a new one this morning from my lecturer in college who breeds them (his name is noel morgan) i'm hoping its a girl so i can keep them together ( and breed) but the new one is really young so i'm not going to know yet, so they wont be put together until the new one is older and i know 100% its a girl.

Cute Leos! Better fatten the first one up; he is WAY under weight and has a really thin tail. He needs more calcium and fattening foods or something; I hate seeing geckos that way :bigcry:. I know it is probably going to take some time to get him back up to weight. Good luck!!!!!!

yes im glad eveyone noticed, that was going to be my next question, hes not a very good eater ive tried crickets and hes not eating so i tried mealworms and he will only eat very few or wont eat any at all. So today i tried locus and he ate 4. Are there any other kind of foods i can try?

Welcome to GeckoForums.net! I agree... the Super Snow is very underweight. I would recommend having a fecal test done by a veterinarian to assure he has no parasites. This could cause your gecko not to want to eat, if it goes unresolved it could lead to death.

thanks for the help im going to make an appointment at the vets and get him checked out. I noticed when he came to me that he was very small, compared to the ones my friends have, im going to get him checked out, dont want anything bad to happen to him

just a little update for everyone, ive been to the vets this morning (9am thursday) and they have done a test and they said they will ring me when they have the results. Does anyone know how long facel tests take?
