The volume of liquid added to the bowl is under your control. Same for the volume of powders in supplement dishes. :)

Please advise the original poster how much he should put in his gecko's water bowl. First I think we need to know how much the bowl holds, no?

The gecko can only consume a limited amount. The OP can add as much as the OP wishes, as these products, as I already mentioned, are of sufficiently low concentration and it's not a concern if one understands toxicity.

If one is paranoid, one can always add less than the bowl holds.

Since this is a matter of science, show me the evidence of danger and less scaremongering based on lack of understanding.

The label is quite clear.

As I stated previously, I am not a scientist either. I tend to err on the side of caution when something is not completely known to me. As you understand, I am not trying to scare anybodyl. Just the way I am.........

I am, so I generally prefer to delve into the basis for my future decisions. Not always, as I am imperfect, but usually.

Well what I do know is that many of my "hard to keep hydrated" reptile species get weekly doses of electrolytes... Some indivuduals have been on it for 10 years or more... No gout, no deaths due to electrolyte od... Infact I have brought animals from basically being beef jerky with eyes to being super healthy, porperly hydrated individuals in a relativily short period of time using electrolytes...

As far as toxicity goes, even life giving plain old water has an LD50... Yes, you can overdose on water...

I've been following this thread for a little bit, and I think I have to go with Baoh and Gregg on this one. I don't see anything wrong with using this water. It IS pretty low in concentration & would be pretty difficult to send one's animal into a toxic state just from this water alone...

With that said, there's already been a bunch of scientific gobelty goop posted and i've been writing in charts all day so i'll keep this short and sweet: An excessive amount of pinky mice fed to leopard geckos would cause FAR more damage than this water ever could.

I agree. I don't think there is a big problem here with overdoing it on electrolytes. This is no different than a dish of calcium and vitamin powder.

I'm not a vet, but I am a biochemist. So I say that with some level of confidence.
