Well, I have 3 Female Leos. And one will only sit on the cold side.. next to the Humid hide. I have 2 hides on the warm side *all I can fit in there* One in the middle and the humid hide on the cold side. And when ever I go to hold her, she is FREEZING! :-/ I Put her on the warm side, But she always ends back up next to the humid Hide. :-/ My Warm side temps go from 91-94 in the day. and down to like 85-88 ish at night.

Any suggestions?

Separation is my suggestion if they are being housed together...

When leos are housed together they will compete for food and prime thermo spots...
Some confuse leos hanging in the same spot with "cuddling" or wanting to be with eachother when in reality they just want the same thermo spot... Sometimes the dominant animal will not "share" the spot and the less dominant animal will have to find its own spot that may not be as good...

I completely agree with Gregg. Back when I housed my geckos together, in one group of females I had the same problem but had witnessed absolutely no bullying. I separated them to be on the safe side, and the female that was being bullied promptly gained 20 grams like it was nothing.

And This one Eats.. Only when it is put in front of her.. Like she has since I got her.. :-/ So she eats. She just did. And she is actually the heaviest of the 3.

The night temperatures should be in the 70's at night.

What in the world are you talking about??? Again, sit back and learn... Stop giving bad advice...

Sarah I still feel she should be separated atleast to see if things change... Let us know how you make out...

Yea, I Hate to have her in the 10g.. there is hardly ANY Space in there with a warm hide and a Humid hide for her to move around... :-( And she still sat next to the humid hide all the time. :-/ *sigh*

It seems to me that if she shows the same behaviors in terms of where she like to be and what she's eating no matter where you put her (separate or together with the other geckos), you may as well keep her with the others as long as she's eating well and acting healthy. It doesn't hurt to separate her and see if there's any difference. Be aware also that some people on this forum believe passionately in keeping geckos individually and some believe passionately in keeping them in groups. We're all right as long as the geckos are healthy.

I personally have found that keeping my geckos seperate has actually made things better for me. From my personal findings as well as doing hours of research and pretty much being in love with science in general, there will always be the alpha of the group. It doesn't matter if it's male or female or and species of animal.

When housing animals together there is still nature at it's finest doing it's job. The stronger will dominate all animals in the area the animals are kept. It's natural selection. The strongest will survive. It is up to the people taking care of the animals to notice these behaviors and do something about them.

just my opinon from the research i have done on my own.

My Tiamat seems to prefer the cooler side of the tank as well. But she never feels cold to me. She may feel lukewarm if she's been in her cool hide long enough, but I have lights on as well as a UTH (I live in a basement and it gets pretty chilly down here. I don't like her ambient air temps getting TOO low even if all she really needs is a UTH.) ANYWAY, I've been slowly lowering my UTH temp to see what she prefers. I've found that she likes it in the low nineties. So maybe some geckos just like it chillier and others warmer?

Although I would suspect as well that she may be being prevented from the warm spot by the other roommates. I guess you can try putting her in the 10g again for a few days and see if she moves back over to the warm side gradually?

Yea, Well I have the big tank on a rhetostat thing.. and for some reason it isn't steady. :-/ And all the thermostat things where i can set temps are like 50$ And I dont have 100 spare for 2 tanks. :-/ so, I just add more Papertowels to try to lower it. I am not sure what else to do with the UTH.. :-/ So, it stays Pretty Steady at those temps Naturally. And I cant put the Dial any lower then it is. So, for now, temps have to be at this point.. or i have to add more paper towels. I have 4 layers over it already LOL!

And yes, her "Spot" has not changed.. in either cage. But she is Ice cold when I pick her up.. I Just wanna Hug on her to make her warmer. :( I Would be shivering if I was that cold to the touch.
