The egg is still slightly dented but it's getting plumper, but with that moistness I can't get the mold to stop growing. And so I have to take it out everyday and wipe it off with paroxide, and I hate doing this and messing with the egg. but if I leave it, the mold gets out of hand!!! almost to the point i'm afriad it'll kill the egg.

Does the substrate help with this? I'm using soil, the kind that comes in the brick for reptiles.

I really hope it hatches and lives..

You could try switching to perlite. It holds the same amount of moisture but allows much better airflow and (imo) has less chance of mold growth on healthy eggs

Here are pictures of my new incubator and I changed the substrate to moss and soil. I really need to just leave the egg alone now

It'll be two weeks at that temp.

From what i know a fertile egg will resist mold. I have had infertile eggs mold badly next to fertile eggs. The fertile eggs still didn't grow mold. Of course the infertile eggs didn't stay in their long before i took them out. If its denting right off the bat and molding then the chances of it being bad is high! I mean you can keep doing what your doing but its probably useless.

Mold can grow on a fertile egg-so not useless! However, I do think it's easier for it to start on infetile eggs. Nice Incubator!! :)
And do agree that we use perlite too and really helps letting air through so not as easy to have mold.

well its definitly resisting it more so than it's counter part did, it just get it in one spot on the top and not as bad as I thought it would, and IT is glowing pink after all so who knows
