I received a pair of those 'crazy' geckos recently. Like them a lot, even they are still shy. They have very cute faces and they are extremely agile (my daugther is in love with them). It is interesting that the females have calcium sacs on both neck sides.

Enjoy the photos:

i just picked up a pair of these of faunaclassified and as soon as i have another chance ill be ordering about 2 dozen more . i really love these geckos.

been doing a lot of research on them , the wikipedia isn't exactly correct as far as housing goes, while the humidity is still higher, they tend to live in grassier areas near rocks and dead trees, they like to be able to use bark as a place to wedge themselves.

substrate should be a peatmoss sand mix to help hold some of the moisture.

:D Thanks, Lee!

Actually this was just a first impression: probably because they were in stress from the new environment. Now I can tell they are calm, even lazy... :)
But with a great apetite and still very funny.

Congrats on your new additions! Indeed, there is no enough info on the species care. I compiled what I found: honestly said, I was not 100% prepared for them, as I received them as a present... :) I can tell that currenlty they feel great.

Regarding the substrate, if you moist every day, the wet ground substrate is not mandatory, as the level of moisture is high enough. But yes, the mix peatmoss & sand sounds great. :main_thumbsup:
