Well Got 3 nice plump adult RAPTORS shipped to me today, and wanted to know when they will be acclimated enough to start eating for me? The breeder had them on mealworms, and i have a dish in each of their tubs

Every gecko is different. I got one who started pounding mealworms an hour after she arrived. I got another who didn't eat for a good 2 months before he settled in. Try not to handle the geckos too much, leave some food in the enclosure with them, and they'll most likely find it eventually. Make sure you try a bunch of different feeder insects, variety usually stimulates their appetite.

on babies i give them food the same day. with adults i generally wait three to four days before i even try. i just leave them completely alone. if at three or four days they do not eat i will try them in another couple of days. GENERALLY they will eat within the first two weeks BUT you have to also remember it is getting cooler outside so some of them might take a bit longer

Make the piece big enough so that the leo can't swallow it easily. Like, the size of a sugar cube. Maybe 3/4'' x 3/4 ''?

If its just a gigantic piece of potato or apple in the middle of a dish, with a bunch of yummy mealworms squirming around it, the leo will definately not eat the piece of apple. :)
