A lot of posts recently have been on the same subject. Sorry you have to euthanize him/her. Living without eyelids would be torture.

isnt it so strange that we say how awful and yet there are geckos that can never close there eyes, I know different species I just thought it so strange , and no I don't think it's okay for a leopard gecko not to have eyelids just pointing out how strange

Put in refrigerator FIRST, this will make her fall asleep, then (once asleep) put her in the freezer. Or you could take her to a vet, or smash her head (quickly & hard, if your up to that), or a CO2 chamber.

Sorry if that sounded blunt, but those are some of best ways you could do it, sorry you have to do this, really stinks, but I would say its better than living with no eyelids.

Can't really be more humane than a quick hammer blow to the head, but I can appreciate that people would find that difficult to handle. It really comes down to the following question: Is your method of euthanasia best for your gecko, or is it the best for yourself?
