So i wanna know if you guys have any tips or tricks to make your leos ''like'' you or atleast not hide all the time. sure some like to just lay in thier hide but sometimes it can be out of fear/uncertainty.

as some might have seen ive gotten 2 new leos and they are abit timid towards me and i wanna know what you guys do with new leos. most interaction ive had with leos are from hatchling and then its pretty easy to amke them used to you overtime since well they are small and learn quite fast imo that you bring food etc.

but im abit new to taking in older leos and i wanna know how you guys do to make them comfortable with you.

The general wisdom is to give them time to get comfortable, to talk to them, put your hand in the enclosure and let them get used to your scent, hand feed them if possible, then to scoop them up and make a little cave with your hands and let them sit there. It could work. I have a male gecko that I've had for 5 years now and he just doesn't like being held, so sometimes there's nothing you can do. Good luck.

Yea ill try and see how they get along but i wont be heart broken if they dont like handeling since they are primery for breeding but if they are easy to handle its just a bonus! :)

I found that if I put my hand into the Vivarium low snd slow my Gecko is relaxed snd will come over and lick me.

Also I open the door and he will often come over to investigate. If I hold my hand out flat he will walk onto it.

Like Aliza says talking to your Geckos helps too.

Try making a repetitive low sound like a click or a hum every time you approach the enclosure. Over time they will relate the sound to you and expect you and hopefully not run off.

Bearded man baby talk is a no no
