How to tell if egg bound

I have a female gecko that weighs about 60g now. She was up to 65g. She hasn't eaten since the end of December. She has always had problems pooping. I usually have to put her in a soak to get her to poop. Her mid section seems hard & swollen. She has never been with a male. Do you think she is egg bound? I know sometimes females can produce eggs without a male (not fertile). How would I know if she is egg bound.

She is kept on paper towels
Belly temps are high 80's to around 91.
I had her since August 2008. She was thriving & doing well. I am sure she is less than 1 year old.

I have given her a few dosages of panacur & appitite supplement. She was at the vet back in October & at that time she was clean of parasites.

I have tried two different vets & both have not been successful in keeping my gecko's alive so I am not too quick to jump to a vet. The failure rate is too high. I don't have a lot of faith in vet's right now for reptiles. At least not in my area. I have lost two geckos. one in October & the other in December. For reasons no one can explain. One was a female & one was a male.

Any idea's how to keep this one from dying?

Oh yea, she is not one that licks very well. I have a terrible time in getting her to lick anything off her nose. i do have slurry but I don't believe she will lick it off.

Is her underside dark as well? Where it's hard?

It sounds like impaction to me. But I don't know what she could have been impacted with if she's kept paper towels.

Most people on here will suggest that you up her belly temps. Many have told me that an adequate temperature is anywhere from 92-97F. Currently, mine is at 95F (previously 92) and so far it's done very well.

I agree with raising the temps, that could solve the pooping problem.

She could be full of food, or poo, and it may be too cool to digest and release everything.

It's visually pretty obvious when a female becomes egg bound. If you can, bend her body backwards slightly while holding her so you can get a good look at her belly. If you're not comfortable holding her like that put her in a clear plastic container so you can see under her. You should be able to see very large white eggs in her abdomen if she's full of eggs. Adding to what Cassandra said, continue to give her warm water soaks they do help.

Females are usually visually "in trouble" when they're egg bound...literally you can usually see them trying to pass the eggs...keep a good eye on her. Warm water soaks may stimulate the GI tract & get things moving again. If not, i'd contact a veterinarian for information regarding a stool softener/surgery.

I will take some pictures of her tonight & post them. I turned up her UTH. It's about 93 now. We also gave her a soak but she doesn't like that too much. Thank you.

Sorry but I can't seem to upload any photos as I don't have a program to resize them.

Very nice gecko, btw. Judging by the first picture - even though it's a little fuzzy - I think I can almost make out some eggs. Especially in her lower right abdomen. I could be wrong though. I'm sorta new to all this myself.
