Just got home last night. All of my geckos are prefect! I'm happy they made it through the storm so well. My car on the other hand didn't fair out so well. I think it's going to get totaled. Hope everyone else who had to go through this storm had the same outcome with their little ones.

I live in Ohio and I know by the time it got up here it wasn't a hurricane any more but we had winds over 80mi/hr Sunday and of the 800k customers our electric company has over 700K were w/ out power. We didn't get power back on till Wednesday morning and there are still people with out power now. It was really interesting seeing how people reacted to the power outage. Some freaked out and others didn't have hardly a problem. The only thing I minded was not being able to do laundry YUCK:main_laugh:, we had to take it to our aunts house that had power.

Dude a few months ago we had a huge storm here. I was without power for 6 days. we didnt freak at all. Started the genny for the first two days then moved our food to my moms, a showered by candle light have a gas water heater and city water, and made food by fire or grill. I have a place in grayling michigan with no power and we go up there for weeks and have to even pump water if we need it. I love it. I love not having a phone to answer and people to beg you to come into work. I LOVE IT!

We still don't have power. Maybe next week! At least the weather is nice, we haven't had to stress about the Cresteds getting too hot yet. The Leos are cooler than they'd like to be but they'll make it. Ike was the meanest storm either of us can remember. Our thoughts are with the families of those who lived on Boliver and surrounding communities that were wiped out. The federal governments no fly zone policy worked. No one got the heartbreaking images of the pets and human lives that were lost. So many people were washed out of their homes that it's going to be a long time before they're able to identify them and notify the next of kin. We've been so blessed to have lost nothing but power and income. There are thousands who have lost everything.

ROFL jared if you would have done that you prolly would have ended up clear across the country w/ no cost in gas.
Glad to hear everyone has made it through with little to no problems so far. :main_yes:

Lol, foolsgOld. You must live near me. My power didn't come back on till Wednesday too. I was worried about my Boltz being too cold in my room because the heater wasn't on for her.
