4 of my geckos? free

the 10 gallon and 2.5 i got today? FREE

its amazing what you can score just by asking for it lol

what kinda reptile stuff have you scored for free?

Haha wow you've been lucky. I got a 29 gal tank for free, and then recently got a 20 L for free. And that's been basically it lol I wish I could get geckos for free!

I got a 40 gallon fish tank with a stand and cruddy cover, and a 25 gallon fish tank for free..

No gecko stuff yet.. I'm always up for free tanks though, someday, and I would never look a free gecko in the mouth but I'm glad I haven't been offered.. no room!

If you are willing to take a special needs gecko a lot of times those are adopted out for free. We did get a free gecko once who had no special needs. We didn't even ask for it. We got her as a gift with a purchase of some other ones. The breeder was excited about the direction of one of our projects, and thought she would fit well into that project. We were extremely thankful and delighted.

That's pretty awesome. That must make you feel really good about the work you're doing to have others lend encouragement like that


Now that I think about it I did get a free gecko once, but it was a buy-one-get-one-free thing. They had too many crestie hatchlings, and that has worked out beautifully for me.

all my tanks other than my 80 gallon (i got for 100bux) are free.. I have a tank stand that you can buy at ******** for 150 bux for free (BRAND NEW!) i have 7 tanks, FREE, free basking lights, free hides, free everything.. IF ITS FOR FREE ITS FOR ME!! lol

Oohh i also got a free book shelf that I'm making into a aquarium rack system!!

I've often walked into pet** and picked up adoption fish or fry for free. ^^

Once, a Columbian tetra was mislabeled as a $10 rainbowfish there. I asked the employee what the price was and he said it was still ten dollars because it WAS a rainbowfish. I then proceeded to tell him it was a tetra because it had an adipose fin and more obviously, nothing like the rainbows. The employee looked a little flustered and just gave me the fish, no charge. I've always been sorta proud of that story... hehe

I havent got any reptile stuff for free however I did get a free Burton snowboard, Oakley goggles, tee shirt, and beanie. Everything was brand new

I got 3000 crickets for free one time from a manager at a chain store. They had some sort of miscue with ordering and got another store from another states crickets... and according to their policy they cant return them to vendor or ship to their sister store for some weird reason. Oh well.
