Here are a few Leo's we hatched out this morning. Really pumped to see how some of these guys turn out!

First is a result of breeding a Mack Super Snow Eclipse male to our Mack Snow Eclipse female's. Great outcome with so many different variations!

Next we have a few hatchlings that came from our G-project het eclipse groups! We are thrilled to have produced some Solar Eclipse! These will only get better with age.

Cheers!

I'd love to know this as well. I've never heard the term used before.

They are all really nice! Eclipse babies are always my favorites. :)

They are cute, but what on earth is a "Solar Eclipse"?
I mean, besides the astronomical phenomenon?

They kind of look like patternless stripe eclipses (except the one with the reverse stripe)...is that it?

And for those who were also wondering: his "G-Project" is the Green Project :main_yes:

Looks like a very promising project!
Now, we have Galaxies and Solars and Black Holes... somehow, Eclipses seem to attract space names :main_laugh:

So it's just an emerine/green eclipse?

...I agree with the slight confusion. I think they look very nice but is it just a new name for a line bred and recessive combo? So it's Solar Eclipse instead of Emerine Eclipse? Either way they are very nice geckos. Just trying to understand the genetics behind them.

Basically the Green Project has evolved from the Emerine, but we have noticed some very consistent and unique traits with the G-project that quantified it as its own morph. However we can not take credit for the name Solar Eclipse, its was first produced and named by Matt Baronak. Thanks guys!

If the Green project came from the Emerine, why not just call it Emerine Eclipse?
Unless the point is to be obtuse for marketing purposes.

That would be like me claiming that Earthtones are their own morph, rather than a linebred dark tangerine.
It's not its own morph. I don't see the difference here...is there something I'm missing?

p.s. Space Cadets! I love it! LOL
