i moved! With a heck of a story!

you may have noticed i have not been on gecko forums! well this is why! Really this was something out of the movies, and i still cant believe it! well for Christmas my boyfriend came down to FL to spent the whole week with me. and it was perfect like it always is since i been with him for over 2 years but this visit was unlike all the others because when he had to go......that morning i rented a Uhaul. well the rest was a 2 day road trip unlike any other. we packed up all the animals and drove to IA! now i lived in FL all my life am used to 80F....when we got here at 4 am it was 12-F with Tons of snow. well its been a few days and am still unpacking but its been Unreal with the ice and snow. and its so much deference then the city life am used to i swear the town looks like it came out of a hallmark card! and i have my own reptile room! Still being rearranged, oh and my boyfriend made me a New gecko rack! (heat tape will be here Next week for now the room is heated) and for my Xmas gift he got me a breeding pair of Cave geckos!! there so pretty. this New year is starting off to be a great one!​

Your new breeding pair are absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations on them! And what a move, from Florida to Indiana; the temperature treating you ok thus far? I'm in Southern Ontario, and know all about the snow, wind, rain, and ice. Hope you enjoy your new place!

Oh, ahha, sorry, I don't have all of the acronyms for the states down yet, pardon my ignorance. The breeding pair is lovely though! -19F -shiver- that's -28C, it's only -15C or 5F here today. Poor you!

lol! Liz yeah and there already eating however what stinks is i forgot my crickets! And my mice for my snakes and All my super worms died in the uhaul! the only thing that lived was my mealworms so i will have a new order of crickets coming however no one will ship crickets since its so cold anyway! Ahhhh some things i miss.....like being able to order crickets! without worrying about the cold killing them lol

Aww how cute. I can't wait to move even though its only 30-35 miles north of here but its still much different than the snobby crap heads in clearwater. i so wish i could see snow i have only seen it twice in my life being a born&raised floridian. your pictures are awesome and your new geckos are very nice. I wish i could move north of florida to like TN or NC or north GA. but at the moment its only a dream. I would just be happy to be out of my inlaws house. I hope all goes well for you guys and i hope you guys are happy about the move and all the new possibilities and oppurtunities it brings.

lol i know liz i called and before i could say anything i got "Heather! you forgot your freezer full of dead mice!" So as it turns out there going to mail them to me. However the crickets will surly die under there shipping skills and the cold here so i need to re-order them. As for the cave geckos there doing great!
