It matters! Many breeders can't even claim to know 3 generations of their gecko's genetics. I am thrilled for you, Charlton...don't let rain ruin your parade!

i am not tring to make it rain. actualy i'm very happy for Charlton as well And to know that she made it from scratch is awsome. must people wait for others to do the work and then buy what they want (there is nothing wrong with eather way). but big props to doing her self. i hope it proves out :main_thumbsup:

and there are some projects that i know 5 generations back and have all 5 generations.:main_thumbsup:

and thats why i knew that i wasnt selling a super enigma at daytona for $350. can't have a super if only one parent is a snow.:D

Thanks for the kind words everyone

This is a great forum to shre info. and our projects and I'm glad to be a part of this community. I must admit I've been a little down this season as geckos aren't selling as they have the past few years, especially enigmas. I haven't "worked" since Chloe was born in February and have been praying the geckos could support themselves, but it's been tight. Thank goodness for some ball python clutches I hatched and sold. This project has rejuvenated my passion for breeding geckos and remembering this is a hobby before a business.

Oh, but you have worked! Raising a baby is a 24/7 jobe... but so worth it! Being able to stay home with your daughter so that she won't be raised in day care has no price-tag. (You also have very beautiful geckos and snakes!)

Congrats also on your baby girl, and the fact that you get to stay home and raise your child. No job is more important.

A child being home with a parent is worth going broke for if you ask me. That what I tell my brother ever month when he complains about money while his wife stays home with his january baby.

Awesome hatch and I hear you on the gecko market, though I sell my share with some foot work and word of mouth .

congrats!

Congrats Charlton!! Can't wait to see some of the nice geckos you've produced this year in person!

I'll be seeing you (and Marcia) in a few weeks...
Hey Marcia, don't you think it's unfair that Charlton will use his cute baby daughter to attract more people to his booth! =P

No Baby at the booth Jon, you're safe :)

Chloe and Mommy will be staying behind this year and so will the Super RAPTOR. I will be bringing plenty of Enigmas though. Looking forward to seeing you too. Bring some stuff to trade. Don't know if Marcia is doing Petaluma this year.
