Hey everyone, how's it going?

The name's Kaia. (Kai-uh)

I'm 15, and I'm new to the herp world.

Reptiles have started to really fascinate me. I think If I had the space(and enough electrical outlets) then I'd have quite a few different kinds of Lizards :p

I'm not allowed to have snakes though. My Grandma hates them, and she is basically the dictator of my dad and I's house and decisions. So no snakes for me for a looong time.

I have a little female Leo named Itzo. I don't know my morphs well (or at all), so I can't really describe her well. She's still young, and I think she's about 5 inches long(nose to tail tip). I haven't actually measured her yet so I'm just guestimating.

Anyways, I think it would be kinda fun to learn about Gecko's and other reptiles I'm interested in owning in the future :D

Welcome to Geckoforums. Hope you like it here, it's a great place. You and me sound rather familiar. My mother is very strict about reptiles, I'm extremely lucky and grateful for the two geckos I currently have, because as long as I'm living under her roof, I'm surely and unfortunately not getting any more reptiles :(

But anyways, welcome :)

My mum is the same!!! But I stole the garage and my dad sectioned it off for me and put an insulated wall up. So the room is about 26-28 degrees. It's good having a separate room for them. My mum doesn't get involved with them lol so I can sneek some in. I've done it once or twice. My mums washing machine is also in the garage and it broke once and the man who came to fix it was scared of the 60 something snakes and 17 lizards in the room hahahahahaha

But anyway back to the topic. I have 7 Leo's and 3 cave geckos. I have lots of Royal Pythons too. Good luck with your little Leo!! They're great little pets :D. You will get a snake sooner than you know it. It took my mum an awful long time to convince her

My parents were surprizingly supportive of my reptile hobby. They didnt like it, but they would drive me to expos before I got my liscence. My dad even built me a custom tank for my beardie for christmas once. I think they were just happy I didnt want another dog.

welcome. i brought the kid home and a few days later, i called my dad and asked him to pick me up some crickets - oh, the yelling; however, i did get crickets. now (that was a little over a month ago) my parents run up to my room whenever i tell them that he is shedding or doing something else fairly interesting.
