Definitely work great for me! They work ok without the thermostat but wonderful with a thermostat. Definitely get a proper thermostat, otherwise they tend to fluctuate 2-3 degrees.

well I personally dont have a thermostat and I keep it in my room with just .5 fluctuation. It helps if you have like three water bottles in there to keep them constant.

I don't have much of an issue without thermostats on mine, either. Only about .5 degree of fluctuation, as well. I think having a constant room temp has an awful lot to do with this, though. My gecko room stays a pretty constant 77 degrees.

Hey Jerrett, before you order one call a few feed stores and see if they have any incubators in stock. There may not be any reason to pay for shipping and wait for one. We've gotten one from a tiny feed store, I can't remember the brand name, but it was actually a little nicer (IMO) than the equivalent Hovabator.

I have had two running almost non stop going on the third year and no problems... I use Helix DBS-1000 thermostats to control the temps...

thats a good idea there's a feed store on washington close to downtown i think there were still air giants? i really dont knw but im going to search every feed store in houston haha.

P.S. i mean that too.
