I'm breathless, PRAISE GOD ALMIGHTY! My oldest crestie died in my hands this morning, I watched as she took her final breathe, yet when I came back to my room after a moment of prayer and picked her up, SHE WAS ALIVE!
GOD IS GOOD!

However, I need some advice as to how to get her back on her feet, it appeared as though she died of impaction, and she is quite skinny. I put her in a medium kritter keeper with a fake vine, a small cap of cgd and water, I misted the tank, and i put a small heat mat wrapped in paper towel under it.
(This is just temporary)

I need some advice!

Any more info would be great, how or why do you think she is impacted? What was she in Before? How bad is quite skinny?

I have a question to add to this. If a gecko has an impaction, does forcing mineral oil orally help loosen up the debris? I know this sometimes works with other animals, so does it hold the same for herps?

She is six inches long and was on eco earth, her tank was perfectly clean, and she's skinny enough that there are wrinkles in her skin. Another strange thing I just noticed is that her neck is bent, so her head is always facing the left, and she keeps SLOWLY walking in a left circle. Could she have broken her neck by falling from a vine?

The head tilt and walking in circles sounds more like a neurological disorder. I have seen Cresteds jump and fall from several feet without any damage, so the odds that it has a broken neck and is walking aorund are slim.

A couple ideas(though I dont know a lot about crested geckos)
1. Head tilt to one side a possible inner ear infection?(not ruling out neurological just giving another idead)
2. Wrinkled skin (I know in leos) is usually dehydration.

Has your gecko defecated(pooped) recently? No poo could mean impaction or could mean it just hasnt eaten...

Maybe a trip to the vet might be useful or might just stress out more.

How old is your crestie?

The only advice that I can give is that she needs to see a vet. Unfortunately, without knowing the entire situation and without someone who has medically knowledge seeing your pet, there is no way of telling what all could be wrong with the crestie. Just as one person suggested, it could be neurological, it could be an inner ear infection... there are so many things that go wrong that without a physical exam there is no way that someone over the internet can tell you 100% what is wrong with your pet.
All people over the internet can do is tell you their experiences and what has worked for them... You need to understand that trying anything that anyone suggests can kill your pet, if we have "misdiagnosed" or hindered you seeing a veterinarian. I know it sounds harsh, and it probably sounds off the wall, but it is true.
I mean, I dont think that anything anyone on this thread will kill you pet... but treating her for impaction when it is something else will only allow the something else to get worse and not fix the problem...
The point to my whole rant... is that you need to take your animal to a veterinarian.
