So how the UTH is going to keep my temperature stable?

I totally forgot about this part. It's probabbly a good idea to pick up a thermostat when you go and get the UTH too...I use a pretty expensive one from Helix for everything, but you could probabbly find a decent one in a store.

As far as crickets go, well...I don't seem to do a good job of keeping them alive for more than a few feedings, either. I do like to get them on a pretty regular basis along with the mealworms and pretty much any other insect I think they might eat to give them as much of a variety as possible.

Remember to gutload your insects for a day or two before you feed them to the gecko. ;)

so it easier just to feed my gecko with mealworms hehe.

i have 2 hide places, one with the moss (in the cold side) and the other is just half of a coconut.

is 92 degrees a good temperature of the hot side?

So ill need to ask for a normal thermostat and choose the temperature there.

thanks everyone

80-81 on the cool I'm assuming...you want it to be right around room temp (anywhere from 70-76ish).

Mealworms are SO much easier to care for (to me). You want to let them gutload (feed) for at least 24 hours prior to feeding...so place a mix of oatmeal, apples, potatoes, lettuce, etc. in the cup and let them eat up...don't leave them at room temp for too long though, or else they will begin to morph into beetles. Once they've eaten for around a day, place the cup in the fridge (they will be in a state of hibernation this way, so they will not eat any more). Basically, they just chill (literally) in the fridge until you need them (re-gutload occasionally to add more nutrients, and make sure you're dusting them with calcium every few feedings)... they don't smell, bite, chirp, and are relatively simple to care for.

One thing I didn't notice anyone comment on was your tank size. I think a 10 gallon tank is decent enough space for a leo, but make sure to watch your temp gradiant. It can be difficult to keep a cool side of the tank when the tank isn't very wide. I use a 20L myself to give more "length" to the temp gradiant.

Oh ok, i think the one i have is a normal 10G tank, is 20 inches long and the light is in one corner.

Is it normal that my gecko didnt want to eat today? is it because he ate too much yesterday?

thanks

Keep an eye on him. At his size he SHOULD be eating everyday, but if he's eating consistently every other day and still gaining/maintaining weight, then worry not. He's still adjusting too, which can take up to a month sometimes.
