Lav Reverse Stripe Raptor

Check out this Raptor. Solid red eyes and perfect lav rev stripe. We're debating whether to sell or hold her back. Tough decision.

Pretty but a little confused... what makes it a reverse stripe insted of just a stripe? BTW Ray I LOVE LOVE LOVE your giants. I'm saving up to get one in the hopefully not to distant future altho you did just sell the one I had my eye on... the hot moose offspring Altho I'm really digging the giant normal you have listed as well.

The solid stripe going straight up the back makes it a reverse stripe. Goes right up the the spine.

If the stripe down the back is dark or black in pigment color its considered reverse stripe. If the pigment of the stripe is not from the dark pigment then its a normal stripe. If this gecko wasnt albino then the stripe would be darker lavander or blackish.

i thought a reverse stripe was a stripe of colour runnning up/down the spine, and a stripe is two stripes running down the sides of the spine, so creating sort of one stripe up the spine from the absence of colour.
I belive the wiki pics will show what i mean. And help you out Kel.

I may do that Carlos. If we keep her I was thinking of breeding her to a Giant Raptor boy...would be cool to produce Giant Raptors with rev stripes....or better yet a Super Giant. Problem is, we have about 30 projects already in mind for next year and need to get it down to about 5! :main_laugh:
