I won't be getting a tattoo in Texas - but I'd love to have a shirt or something with that picture on it to commemorate our trip!! Wonderful job!

This was done pretty quickly, but you get the idea. It's a jungle Bell. For fun, you can find Texas in the body and "07" in the head.

Ha ha! I love how you put the 7 and Texas in the design....This is going to be a tuff choice.

And, we can have the design put on T-Shirts, when it is done, I will make a T-Shirt using my Cafepress account and we can all buy one

Shanti, A bold stripe would be cool! The tattoo can't have too much detail, because if it does it will cost $$$$ and a tattoo with a lot of detail should be done by a real experienced tattoo artist, where as we are probably going to have them done by whom ever is "On Duty" that night.

I am not positive where mine is going, I think I am just going to add it to one of my other tattoos.

How many people are actually going to get tattoos for sure?

I was getting some tattoos finished last night and our tattoo artist here said he'd help us find a good artist up there. The guy Kelli and I were hoping could do them will be out of town.

I was thinking about getting a HUGE leopard gecko tattoo on my left butt-cheek (it would have to be huge...), but Kelli told me I would be laying face down when the tat was being done and I'm afraid when I stood up it wouldn't look like a leopard gecko anymore.

I like his work...his shading is well done. I'm thinking I may have mine done earlier in the week. I think I may contact him to see about time and prices.

Edit: Well, I contacted this place instead: http://www.redhottat2.com/home.htm (AdamX). I'm waiting to hear back from him. I think I'm going to have mine done earlier in the week, that way I can just hang out with everyone else later. I'm planning on one that's about 3 x 4 1/2", so it'll probably take a bit of time. I don't know if I'm going to have it done in one shot, or if I'll do the outline and shading now and the color later.

So, where's the picture of the bold Stripe? I was looking forward to seeing it.

I wish we had some REAL good Tattoo artists up my way. The one that I go to is one of the best in the area, if not the best. But, on one of my Tattoos I wanted what was supposed to be a mist like vapor in the background. He said he knew exactly what I was talking about, but alas, he didn't.

I am going to look on the websites that you guys posted, maybe I will be able to find exactly what I am looking for and be able to have mine fixed.

He has not. But our tattoo artist said that Elmo is the best in DFW.

We're going to give him a call tonight to see if he'll be available but I need to know how many people are getting tattooed and on what night. And how big you want your tattoos so he'll know how long they'll take or how much you're wanting to spend, etc.

It's only a week away! I just figured it would be nice to get an appointment tacked down for us so we don't end up having to get whoever's in at whatever shop to do them.

Kelli was going to call a couple of places to try to get an appointment. Not sure if she was able to though. As far as I know, it is Me, Kelli, you two, and maybe Wendy getting it done.

Mine will probably only be up to 2 inches or so big. I think I am just going to add it to one of my other Tattoos.

Yeah, I have called a couple of places but really I do not know any of the artists nor do I know the quality etc. The link Mel and Keith posted of Elmo's work impressed me. I would be interested in him doing mine. I will be getting one, probably above my ankle added to another tattoo. It really depends on the design I go with.
