Went to pet store to get a new leo I have had my eye on for a week or so and then saw this little cutie. It has the coloring of a charcoal cornsnake. It is grey with darker grey spots. with all the 100's of pic's I've looked at here don't remember seeing this color combination.

Pet store leos tend to color up a little with proper care, feeding and a shed or two - couldn't say myself, though. Haven't seen enough juvies.

I'm curious too, I thought that was the coloring of a baby normal.

I'm thinking it's just lightly colored from being in the pet store. I'd expect that to be a jungle tang...possibly hypo if it doesnt get any spots on its white/yellow parts

Normals usually aren't so dull, but it seems rather dulled-out overall. Pet store care, probably. Or major pre-shed lightening?

Maybe, I definitely see specs of dust or sand on the head, maybe just dusty? Maybe a combo of that, the pre-shed, and previous care?

Well I remember I got a SHTCT that had been improperly cared for..she was a dull tan color when I first got her but she colored up to a really bright yellow after a few months

if it is a snow, it's a hypo snow. you can tell there is some hypo influence in that gecko

Even my adult normal brightened up a bit when I got him some proper heating and regular feeding - can't tell so much because of the bad pics, but here's a comparison of when I got him and when he'd been with me a few months:

Thank you for all the response she will definately be fed and cared for properly now so I guess time will tell will post more pics later.

Not a normal? Dang... well, this is how I learn I suppose. I've gotta study morphs more.
