Loki - Blizzard growing & turning yellow?!?!?

So I was under the assumption that my new leopard gecko was a little over a year old, as this is what the previous owner told me. He was relatively small but I thought maybe he’s just a small boi. Hah! I’ve only had him for a month and he’s grown consistently. I weighed him a couple weeks ago and he was only weighing in at 30 grams. But now that he’s got his tail plumped up and has grown a little I’m noticing that he’s developing yellow on his back legs and lower back. Is this normal for a leopard gecko? And can I assume he’s only 6 ish months old and will get even bigger? I have small hands so it’s a little different size reference but if anyone knows about blizzards let me know?

One interesting thing about blizzards, is that some of them change color depending on temperature and mood. I had a snow blizzard for about 10 years. Sometimes she was pale yellow, sometimes a muddy gold and sometimes a pale violet. It's normal with blizzards. Enjoy her!

Oh I definitely am! He goes nuts when he sees the red tongs I have for feeding ahah. And he HATES my hands. I love his personality so much and I’ve come to realize that he’s just one if those geckos that don’t want to be picked up. Anytime I try getting him used to my hands he just flips out hissing and waving his tail faster than I’ve ever seen a gecko do before. He rarely lets me hold him and it’s a little of a fight to get him to realize I’m not gonna eat him. He’s a treat for sure!!

Wow what a beautiful lizard! Pretty cool that you're documenting the color changing. I wonder if any patterns will emerge.
I don’t know but right now he’s actually white haha I’m sure he’s about to shed again but it’s interesting to see all the color shifting
