Lucky Lure Cricket Farm

Hey guys,

Any one know whats up with Lucky Lures? have they gone out of busness ?? I tried to call to place an order and it seems that there phone has been disconected.. if thats the case where is every one getting there feeding products from now ??

Lucky Lure did, unfortunately, go out of business a month ago. We haven't found another dependable place to order crickets from yet. Loxahatchee has the best ones but they don't always have them available. Ghanns is okay. The new feeder vendor that hooked up with Repticon.... hundreds were dead in the box of 1000 (at least it was only $15). Don't know what we're going to do for crickets yet either I do like the worms from Greatlakes Hornworm and shipping is reasonable.

I use Mulberry Farms...and shipping is only like 5 bucks to my house

Oh my! Why in the world did they go out of business?? And why didnt they even bother letting anyone know? I left luckylure not too long ago and went to Ghanns, but Ghanns has had very poor quality recently and are out of everything! So now I am screwed! I went to expresscrickets.com though, thanks Aliza!

I don't think it was a planned closure..... Beth had been running the company alone since her husband passed (year and a half ago) and working full time at the post office. Can't imagine how difficult it all must have been for her. She recently retired from her job and has some family isues to deal with. She's a nice lady but it was a surprise that the business is gone. I hope she can now get some much needed rest and take care of herself.

The cricket virus hit there farm and wiped out there crickets. I read it on the web.

Yea, do a google, you can find the whole story… They went into BIG debt trying to survive but they were not able to beat the virus. I have used almost every large cricket breeder over the years and the best has been millbrook.
