Hi everyone, Is the nationwide mealworm shortage over yet?
As the pet stores start to get more in stock, when do you think it will be safe to buy them untainted?
I've been breeding my own mealworms (thanks to the information on this site!), but I'm curious how others perceive the mealworm industry is handling the situation.
Now that I have a great clean and safe mealie colony going, no one wants to eat mealies anymore :main_no:
My female snow used to love them, not anymore.
If my newest addition to the family, Indie, doesnt eat them, I guess the wild birds will get a treat!!
Yes, there is a major shortage. Why, I don't know. All petstores I have tried and online services (like Wormman's worm farm) are out until further notice.
Have no idea how you can RUN OUT of mealworms! Been feeding my baby leopards small crickets only.
