mostly mealworms but about once a week or so Stevie gets crickets, she just gets so excited hunting them that it's beyond cute!

I was strictly mealies for the ease of putting them in a dish. but he wasn't eating as much as he should and would be picky which ones he ate. i switched to crickets and he loves them wont stop eating. i think he likes the hunt of them haha

i dont know if this is bad but my two females eat anything that i put in the tank, whether it be crickets, mealworms, superworms, or waxworms. my male eats supers and mealworms, and an occasional cricket haha.

I feed mainly Dubias and Mealies(sometimes regular, sometimes "Giant"), and once in a blue moon I'll try some superworms(only to have them rejected usually). Oh and ever more rare, I'll get them a wax worm or two.

If I'm really looking for a change of diet, I'll get some Crix, but they really stink after a few days so I try not to use them (But to be fair, when I first started, I used to think they were the easiest to maintain, the odor eventually taught me otherwise).

How many mealworms do you feed each leo a day?

I leave a small bowl of mealworms in each enclosure all the time.

I use mealworms exclusively. They're super easy to breed, never smell, and my leos love them. My only issue with them is that they tend to move very little after the first few hours of being placed in the dish, which causes my leos to ignore them.

I also use superworms for my larger leos, but in a much smaller proportion to mealies.

I'd like to use roaches, but I can't stand the thought of escapes and infestations. :main_no:

I've tried my Blaze with mealworms and it's a no go situation, she loves her crickets so that's what i'm keeping her to.

I had mine on Crickets but now they are on roaches. My crickets don't really have a smell until about two weeks of not cleaning their tub and I absolutely hate mealworms.

I'm going to try Blaze with a Locust in a few months time, as i used to give my other 2 males 2 locusts a week and they was soon gone.

I feed my leo's mealworms. My newest one seems a little iffy about the mealworms-- they use to eat mostly crickets. My other one could care less. If it moves she'll eat it, so she eats mealworms, though when she was smaller I had her eat crickets.

I feed Neara 3-5 medium-large mealworms everyday. Soon-ish I may be switching to every other day, and possibly start using superworms in a year or so.
I feed my new one 3-4 small-medium mealworms everyday. They're still a baby.
