Some people do accept money orders, but most vendors generally accept Paypal or Credit Cards. If Money orders were your only option I would feel a little iffy.

No. My supplier has one of my credit cards on file and bills me automatically. I simply don't have time for the inconvenience of doing it any other way.

Agreed! The inconvenience is not worth the "good" price. There are plenty of suppliers who take Paypal or CC.

....of course, it might make sense for people who don't have CC but use MO regularly!

I agree. If I have to go to the post office, stand in line, PAY for a money order, address an envelope, and PAY for postage... that just isn't an option for me.

Agreed! Our post office is manned by a single 70 year old lady and it's like entering a time warp. It takes at least 15 minutes to buy a single stamp...if you have exact change. :main_no:

David, Paypal is very easy to set up, and it's free! Maybe you can get one of your parents to create a paypal account, and then all of your customers can pay via paypal once you start selling

$7.50 for a money order?? They are only a dollar here, and cashier's checks are free from most Banks for account holders

i would definitely allow money orders though as some people do like to use them but as stated your best bet for online orders is going to be paypal or some other credit card processing plus thats alot quicker b/c u dont have to wait on somebody to mail out a money order.

They remove a paypal fee most of the time. It's like 3%. I know for my account they take like $3.20 per $100, and a percent for anything under that. Somehow you can send money where the recipient doesn't loose the paypal fee, but I'm not sure exactly how.

You could also consider Google checkout, but not many people use it. I'm not sure if they have a fee, though.

I believe you have to be 18 to set up an account with PayPal though. Probably with Google Checkout as well.
