I LOVE them Gregg!! You were right, that first picture IS wicked :smitten: Now I just can't wait for those tristis! Didn't these ones hatch even MORE quickly out of the SIM containers?

Soooooo about when will I be mentioned in this breeding ordeal? I mean, I own them, bred them, hatched them and stuff- how about a shout out once in a while hahaha

The 1st clutch hatched in 106 days and the 2nd in 104 days. All are eating dusted crickets and crushed pinks. They can grow to be full grown + / - 20 inches in 1 year.

By the way, if anyone is interested in these babies, I prefer sales in groups of 2 or more. I suggest getting set up properly (They are digging type monitors that require deep sandy loam substrate, high basking temps, and daily feedings.

You can email me at [email protected]

Thanks.

Once you nail the environment, they are unbreakable. The part most reptile people fail at is setting up properly before buying any monitor lizard. The fun thing is, as is with most reptiles, they will let you know whats wrong. They do this by racing the cage walls looking for an escape. This means the cage stinks to high hell and Im not staying. Another is, drab color, poor shedding, and or obesity or anorexia- all due to keeping them too cool, too dry, not feeding properly or (god forbid) keeping them on paper towels / newspaper. There really isnt a more rewarding lizard in my biased opinion because they are extremely easy to "read" and once you rectify the issues, they reward you by reproducing.

Gregg M was never a big fan of these guys until he saw what I was doing, saw how I made changes and whats come of it.

Cheers
