so i wanted to register at http://www.moreliapythons.com. so i did and i was waiting on confirmation and i was waiting moderators approval> WELL the bastards sent me an email telling me my registration/membership was denied. i don't know if it is some kind of secluded "club" but i am pissed. i guess they think theyare better than me. oh well too bad

anyone know a good morelia forum or good general snake forum?

Not BECAUSE it did, just THAT it did. It's really weird, I've been a member of that forum for over a year now, and if they let me in, they would let in all manner of riffraff. Must be a mistake... I'd have to email them just to find out why.

As an MP.com moderator I would like to apologize. I assure you it was nothing personal against you. What has been going on is that we have been hit extremely hard the last couple of months with spammers. The admin gets at least 150 registration requests from spammers everyday and it is impossible to tell them from real people. The temporary solution is just to deny everyone and hope the real people such as yourself reply to the rejection email and the admin makes sure you go through the second time. Even with denying everyone there are a lot of spammers that hack in and manage to post a lot of spam. Half of my time on the site is just deleting spam these days and not even looking at real posts. It is something we are working on as hard as we can and hopefully we will figure out a better solution soon. We would love for you to join our forum and I urge you to reply to the email just saying "Hey, I'm a real person" and Shawn will put you through. I will drop him a note as well saying to look out for you. I hope you still will want to be a part of our community and again, I apologize.
