What's the point of going with a cookie cutter V8. This beast has 7 mains and will be able to handle up to 8000rpm. And with a turbo it will push over 450hp to the wheels! Plus the torque that an inline six will put out is crazy. It will be a very fun ride with the t5 manual 5 speed that is going to be bolted to that motor!

It's gorgeous! I love the paint. We just bought a '63 Studebaker Lark Cruiser that should be delivered today. It'll probably never look as good as your Comet though! lol I love old cars. :)

Thanks, There is 5 coats of orange metalflake, 1 coat of orange and red mixed metalflake, 2 coats of clear flake(makes it look like crushed diamond in the paint) and all buried under 17 coats of clear. Bodywork and paint all done in one day to make it to a car show the next day!

Thats a sweet ride. You doing the motor work yourself?

Thanks, I am doing all of the motor work except for the machine work. I have a good machine shop for the block prep and offset grinding the crankshaft. I am doing all of the build though.

Its funny. I just wrapped up buying a 1969 Plymouth Fury III. 67,000 original miles and the interior is original, 3 rips in the driver seat. I have been looking for a Fury for quite some time. Paid $2000 for it. We should pick it up later this week once I get some tags.

I almost had a 1968 fury III for my first car. Convertible with a fresh 383! They wanted too much money fir it though! So I had to settle with a 1967 caprice with a 454.:-(
