I weighed them both for the first time yesterday (at one week), MoJo was 6.6g and C.MerMer was 6.3g. When I openned their humid hide lid, I can't believe my eyes that they're growing so fast, they almost look like they've doubled in size!!

Here is a pic of MoJo peeking out the day before:

Here are some pics I took before weighing them. MoJo first:

We really like the ":main_lipsrsealed:" pattern on his head. He is very calm, and he even took a cricket from my tweezer last night!

C.MerMer is the opposite, he is very skittish; he runs for his life whenever I emerge in his fov. I suppose this is normal for a baby...(I hope)!

If you have good eyes, you can see C.MerMer's chin line is slightly blurred; that's because he was super nervous and was breathing very fast.

Well, of course I need to include some night-time pics. :)

I put their food in the shallow dish in front of their humid hide. They'll come out to eat as soon as I drop down an insect. MoJo will stay outside to finish his food, but C.MerMer tends to eat one then runs back into his humid hide to hide for a minute or 2 before coming back out for the second one. They're both eating 4-5 items per night. I'm feeding half-inch crickets or lateralis (I plucked off half of the legs so they can't escape).

Aweeee I love the updated pics of them. Do you think you'll be keeping them? Do you have any more expecting?
C*MerMer looks chubby, look at his tummy! They look like snows at night!

Keep us updated!!

Thanks everyone. :)
My female only laid 2 eggs total, I think she is done laying for her first season. I'll pair her up with another male next time.

They're so cute! Isn't is crazy how much temperament can vary between siblings? We had a clutch of Aptors this year where one was always out and running around the tub lunging at my fingers as I dropped mealworms and roaches into her bowl. I rarely ever saw her sister. She always stayed in her hide and ate when no one was looking, she was incredibly shy. So yours sound totally normal and look like they're doing great!

Wow! Bonnie when did you start breeding your geckos?! Those are going to be some spoiled babies!

Haha, they're my very first eggs! I just thought its time to do something to continue the blood of my original geckos; they're all into their "middle age" stage now...So now I have some mini-Marlys, next I'll have some mini-Bubu. :)

aww that's really nice. I always love to bred my pets, my fluffy pets, so I have a reminder of their parents. :) One day, I might end up breeding my leo but not for a long time.. I want to be properly prepared for eggs and hatchlings when i do :D You are very lucky! they are little cuties! ^ ^
