My First Oscar.

So yes I did it, after years of fish keeping, got my first Oscar ...So excited, was told he is a yellow oscar, lets hope this turns out to be true.

Got a pic of the tank and him in his little baggy...sorry for the poor cellphone pics.

Congratulations. Oscars are the very bestest fishes.

I had one when I was in college that I could pet, and it would jump about a foot out of the tank to grab a goldfish out of my fingers.

Yeah, I forgot about that. I hope those plants are fake...

I tried for years to have natural plants with mine, but they wouldn't have it. And they're messy pigs when they eat, too...

yeah they are fake, and yeah i havent gotten the tank fully oscar proof, but do plan on taking the plants out when he starts becoming an interior decorator.
