So, while making collars one day, I was also thinking of what to get various people for Christmas this year. My niece popped into my head because she all wants to be a tattoo artist one day, but she admitted to not having a lick of drawing ability, and she was kind of bummed about it. So, I told her she could come over and have a-go at helping us make some collars. She was excited.
So, I'm thinking "What can I get her for Christmas???"
Then it occurs to me. A LEATHER BRACELET. DUH. What 18 year old teenage punk wouldn't want one of these?? :main_laugh:
Then it dawns on me: More people may want these! And I've got different colored latigo leathers and now we can also line in a nice, thick-ish, soft, suede, too! And we'll have different colored suedes soon.
Anyway, so I order some snaps, and BAM! we made this for my niece last night. It's 1 1/2" wide, but we can make them, probably, down to a 3/4" width. This is entirely too wide for my small wrist, but my husband modeled it well.:main_laugh:
Only because it was too big for me. I hope my niece likes it! We went a little wild on the blingy side, but I think it still rocks.
And!!! To think, matching dog collars or vice versa, match a bracelet up to a dog collar.
WOO HOO!
Whatchu think? We do various spot/concho patterns. There wouldn't be as much room to work with on them as there is on a dog collar, but still!
My hub modeling it.

And here it is by itself:

Now, this was the first bracelet we have ever made, so there are minor imperfections I am noticing looking at it, but I am quite pleased with it.

WOW i dig that! will you make one for stephanie? please?

Just like that one?
Or do you want to take a look at my website for our other leather options and various conchos available.
I also have, like, a butt ton of different stone spots and brass and silver spots arriving soon in the mail.
Seriously, I went order crazy last week. Buying spots and rivets can be ADDICTING.:main_laugh:

I can also line them in a soft suede, and I have various colored suedes that should be arriving to me at the end of the week.

I have orange suede, turquoise, royal blue, light blue, fuschia, lime green, light gray, dark gray, and... I cannot remember what else, but I could line the inside of it with any of those colors.

Let me know.:D

I wish I had the time to sit down and do crafty things. :-/ I used to make glass bead bracelets and was pretty good at it. I just don't have the time anymore... Do you have a website specifically for your collars, bracelets, etc?

You may want to consider belts and leashes too. It'd be cool if you could do a leather stud dog collar.

Thanks, guys!

Kristi,
Yes, we can do guy stud-friendly patterns.:D

Ben wore the one that we made for my niece until we gave it to her.

I made a double leather pink and black one today.
It was a bit of a learning curve, so I went and gave it to my niece's friend.
It's cute as hell, but we found out, today, that we need to actually glue the top strip to the bottom strip of the leather or, when laying flat, it will separate from the bottom strip (even though the ends are held on by rivets).

Did you take pics of the pink and black one? I want to see!

I will definitely be contacting you about making one for Jesse. He has something similar from Hot Topic that he wears a lot, but yours look much nicer.:)

Thanks, Kristi!
Here is the pink and black one.
It's a total 1 3/4" width.
We can do any width, really.
Me, personally? I'm buggered wearing anything bigger than a 3/4" or 1".

See, you cannot tell that the pink and the black leather separate from each other until you lay it flat. It's completely fine once on the wrist. I strongly thought about listing this for sale anyway, but I simply couldn't.
eeek! I shouldn't take these shots with my macro lens! hahahaha!
It gets EVERY little imperfection and ENLARGES IT!!

Kristi, if you're interested, send me an email.
I'm able to check that more frequently compared to the boards.

Thanks for the compliments!!! I look forward to making one for you and/or Jesse.:D

some customer bracelets. I have more orders to finish today, and I have to make my son's, and if I have time I'll be making some to eventually get up on my etsy site as well.
These 3 are all for the same customer:

And I LOVE this one, too. It's made with our burgundy leather, ranger star, and two dome spots on each side.
It's lined in black suede. it's 2" wide.
Sorry, I took these this morning, so my pics are all lopsided.

We also made these two for customers the night before last. The first one (the green one) is 2" wide and lined in black suede.

And this one was made for a customer's daughter. I think it's cute and cool. The pink anodized starburst adds just enough decoration without being over-powering.

Very nice! I like it! the tiny little imperfections give it more character, in my opinion. I'm tired of seeing the same generic leather bracelets made in a factory that only hold their studs for a grand total of 4 days before they start falling off.

Aw thanks, guys!

I made this one for my son yesterday. He's only 9 but he wanted something "punkish" and something with a skull on it:

He put it on upside down, but here it is on his tiny wrist:

And I made this one to list in my etsy store:

My husband only helped me finish punching the holes for the border, and he set the snaps for me because that suede is SUPER difficult to punch through.
