Awesome geckos, Ashley. They're all very cool. I forgot, but what kind of gecko is Fish? For some reason, I can't remember.

Yep, Derek, I do believe you're right. Thanks. I don't know how I forgot something so simple. LOL! I think Fish is a cool gecko...and I love the name.

Very easy. I keep mine in rubbermaid containers with holes drilled. I use sand as a subtrate since they love to burrow, a water dish, mealie bowl, calci bowl, and a hide. I spray them once a night and use a heat pad underneath. They eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. This girl wipes out a bowl of mealworms everynight. They are extremely fast and can not be picked up.

I hope to purchase a male for her next month and should have babies available by fall :main_thumbsup:

I didnt think you could handle any of the leaf tails? guess i was mistaken

Handling geckos for pictures or health checks is one thing, handling them just because you want to play with them is something different. I regularly pick up my leaf tails to assess weight, check for injuries, see if females are gravid, etc. I do this once a week or so for 10 min periods max. They are easily stressed and are not "hands on" reptiles, but handling for necessary tasks or picture sessions for short periods of time won't hurt them.

The Uro I rarely handle. I took her weight, took a couple of snapshots, and then put her back in the cage. Like T-Rex said, they stress easily.
