Why are they so addicting???
Saw him and had to have him.
Can't wait for it to shed. He looks bright orange. The breeder had a small selection, he was raising them to breed later. At first he didn't want to sell it then he changed his mind.:p

He is said to be 3-4 months.... (means he wasn't fed much) Quite small.

He ate a cricket shortly after i got him in a terrarium.

more pics to come after he/she sheds

It looks a lot younger than three or four months. Looks healthy for a gecko that's maybe 1 or 2 months at best, but nowhere near three or four IMO. Should be really pretty when it sheds!

definitely.

I am just not sure how to get her to eat mealies, the guy said the only thing he ever feeds is crickets...

If you have some feeder tongs, you can try to feed with those. Most of the time, the mealies will move quite a bit when they're being pinched between the tongs, which entices the gecko to eat. Also, if you "pop" a mealworm so that some of the guts start to come out, sometimes (if it'll let you) rubbing the guts on the geckos mouth will entice them to eat. You could also just bite the bullet and buy some crickets for it...i'd use the tongs with those too, just to be sure the gecko is eating. If you have a scale, weekly weights would be beneficial.

I just bought a 7 gram baby on Sunday, and she's eating like a champ now!

And when it sheds, which will be tonight, I wanna see what the real colors are, take some more pics for us! :p

you would believe the orange color that it is...

i don't think that Travis had ever taken them and stuck them under real light, its beautiful!! The room that they were in, they didnt have any direct light, it was lights on every cage. but when he let me hold it he told me it would just be a plain old leo but there is no way hes the color of an orange.
