My Wife's Creation!

OK Here is the deal. I've been looking at all the Styrofoam Builds everyone has done on here. I wanted to make one for my son's 10 gallon setup. Well I went and got everything needed. Styro board, paint, glue, sealer, and I decided to try the drywall mud instead of grout, so I went with it instead. I came home with an idea on the way I wanted to do it. So I was going to start on it and my wife sorta took over. Its a good thing because she is much more creative than me. And this is what we have so far. Here it is with mud on it. Hope to start priming and painting tomorrow if mud is dry.

Looks good! I like the stair case.. is that another hide on the 2nd floor?? And it looks like it fits great in the 10 gallon I'm jealous!

Yes it is another hide. My back and sides on my aquarium are tinted so that end will go right up against the glass, making it all closed in. The big opening under that is were I'm putting my tupperware moist hide. Its in one of the pics above. Thanks for the replies. Plan to start painting tomorrow if mud is dry. Thanks!

That's great! I'm getting ready to start painting mine (tonight!). Did you use the "Make it Stone" spray paint? I'm liking the effect.

It was Rust Oleum American Accents Stone, I got 2 cans of this (only used one and a half). It is in ine of the pics above. There were five or six different colors. I used two colors a dark for the base then a light color to hightlight it in. I aslo used some gloss black regular spray for some shading and highlights also. Trying to get different shades to look more natural. I'm going to cover it in a sealer coat and be done with it.
