Put me down for one too, does need some refining but in a year or two it should be perfect. i think you have something. i would not worry about the blue color showing up in photos.
we all know a certain someone released his new morph and sold lots for lots and they aren't even that green.

I understand(Ithink:)) why people say to prove it out. But, if you think you have something new wouldn't you want to throw that information out to the gecko community. I mean I can see several benifits to it, like if it does prove out then everyone knows you did it first. I don't know, just wonderin. Any way if it is congrats on a new morph.

This guy can name his animal whatever he wants... Just because it is not certain breeders you may know that produced and named this animal, it does not make this person naming a morph any less legit... Get off it already...

Wait till you see the crazy animals I produce this season and the crazy name I call them... Why??? Because I want to....

:main_thumbsup: well said!
I've been working on a project now for 2-3 years and though I've discussed the results so far with a couple of other breeders in the UK (who've been great with advise and encouragement) the thought of the hassle that's likely to result because I'm only a small hobbyist/breeder and may have the 'cheek' to give a name to what I may produce makes me seriously wonder if it's at all worth it.
To the OP ~ go for it! I wish you every success and good luck :main_thumbsup:

Well i have been keeping track of this. I don't see why everything is so vague? If a new morph has been created then great but i don't see the issue with posting pics or giving information regarding how it came to be.

The way i see it all breeding/creating new morphs is something that genetisit do and they have to give proof with documentation of how it came to be. Why can't we see any proof? The end result will not make believers out of anyone.

Please i'm very curious to see how this "new" morph came about especially if it has been worked on for 4-5 years. There has to be some sort of documentation.

Thanks,

Ryan

I think it is fantastic. I love the solid black eyes, this is something more than an eclipse, that produces not entirely black eyes (and some snake eyes). Well-known american breeders do not have monopoly on making morphs...
Do you know, if the blue color always comes with the eyes or are they not so closely related?

Marzena, How can you love the solid black eyes and claim they are not solid black in the same sentence :main_robin:

Do you have one or have you seen the group with your own eyes? Max obviously can't update or get images in 6 months, so therefore it's aparent that the claims of a new morph are unfounded.

Proving it out is what needs to be done if the claim is it's not an eclipse. What was the exact breeding group , how many generations and what was done to prove it to be it's own morph. What is the mode of inheritance:D

agree with Paul.
He told of to have bred this morph out for 4 years now, so there shoud be a few babies now.
So maybe you could show some daylight pics and pics of the hatchlings?
