New Morph Frostsicle????

Ok everyone looks like there is a New Morph out there called the Frostsicle??? I contacted the person who posted the add to ask what exactly it was.

His fist response was it was kinda like a Dreamsickle.

So I responded asking what am I supposed to Guess what it is? If you are naming New Morphs you should have a bit of detail. I told him.

His response to this was, No one who comes out with a new morphs tells how they created it. He is not telling anyone yet.

I told him I have Purchased several First Releases over the years and have know everything about the project when they were released, not one breeder kept it a secret. They give detailed accounts how the morph came about to make them legit.

Well at least your listing Morphs that would be involved, this guy does not want to do that. It's a secret and he' not telling.

matt oakely.. i've noticed him on kingsnake for the last couple weeks onlyl.. he claims to have soooooooo muchhh. but i think it's a scame

He has been advertising for several Months in other catagories. Really don't know what to think. I have contacted him several times and he is very Vague and sometimes avoids questions? So it makes me wonder as well.

So I am just waiting to hear his next response to my last reply. Telling him if he wants to claim anew Morph he better come with some proof, or all he has made was a new name.

Ive actually had text contact with him, he seems like a cool guy for the most part...but this claim is kinda bulky and hard to handle if you ask me. I looked at his myspace page he has a decently large collection as well.

Chris... any one can have a bunch of pics, the web is full of them???? I have read up on him over at the BOI and Some say he is Just a Middle man who buys in Bulk and resells stuff??? That is what is being said. I can not confirm or deny these statements. So who know's what he really has?

I see it this way, very few of us produce thousands of geckos a year. You can't exactly by hundreds of animals like that without being talked about, at all. In the Leopard Gecko community lets face it, its not easy to fly under the radar. Which has its ups and downs.

Did anyone see that he has super raptors for $700-$900, to my knowledge not one person has post this combo for sale as of yet and to price it that low seems kind of off. I really don't think it's legit.

It's a buyers market right now. Unless you are a very well know breeder, they seem to be having now problem getting what they are asking for high end morphs.

The Little Guy has to Practically give stuff away to make sales these days.

I have seen some Crazy Low Prices this year on stuff. So some of the Very Low pricing is legit from certain sellers.

The pic of the supposed "Abyssinian" used to be labeled as a Super Snow het RAPTOR before the label in the pic was shopped out. I also am not aware of anyone mass-producing Super Snow RAPTORs.

Not that it means anything, but the pic of the hand in a certain advertisement shot also does not match the pics on his MS profile. He could simply have had another person holding the animal for the shot, though.

The "Frostcicle" is likely just a MS RAPTOR or MS RAPTOR (hypo or whatever) variant if it's even anything at all.

He's not actually the breeder. He's just selling them for his boss. That's what he told me when he contacted us a while back.

Does it matter how he aquires them.. nope. Many 50, 75 and 100 lots are leaving major breeding facilities to people who turn around and sell them. Do people complain that walmart didn't make that TV... nope

If the genetics are not disclosed, don't buy it unless it's the visual appeal(color) you are after.

I do not personally know ***, however, he has been in the Reptile hobby for awhile. Just because he is not known for leopard geckos is no reason to bash him. If you do not like what he has to say, then don't buy from him.

If anyone would have taken the time to check his KS account, he has been a registerd member sice '04. That is longer than most of you...

Paul... I am not complaining about the wholesale end of things. I could care less where people get their stock from. I have no problem with buying Lots to re-sell. Or what price people sell their stock for. It's their business.

My problem is when you claim to have something new. Post pics and name it but don't want to share info. when you are letting the public see it with your Given Name on it. If it was just a pic no big deal, but its a pic with a supposed new morph. If you don't want to share the info don't bother posting pics or re-naming the morph. JMO

Otherwise threads exactly like this get started and the person gets talked about.

People that do the same thing get talked about all the time, wether good or bad, it's nothing new. Why are people talking? its because there is a reason, otherwise we wouldn't be talking about the situation at all. Am I correct about this, YES.

If any person Claimed to produce 1000's of Leos and Has some of the Highest end projects, but no one in the Leo community has every heard of them before. People would wonder who this person is, if they are legit and if they have the stock they say they do. Just like what is happening now. I see no problem with discussing the issue at all, it should be discussed in detail in my opinion.

I say this because years ago when I was into the Ball pythons I had been in contact with someone who was Claiming to have a Huge collection of some of the Highest end Morphs at he Time, as well as 100"s of other very Exotic animals had pics and all. The Guy was super cool Friendly ect. Turns out he was a complete scammer and had scammed a Bunch of people. Harry and Bruce Essiman( wrong spelling). So I don't put it past anyone to do the same thing. So I check them out 100% before hand these days and get every bit of info I can. You can not be to safe these days.

Jeremy... if he were a small hobbiest and no one has heard of no Big deal and understandable. But here is a Person who claims to have a collection WAY bigger than most of the well know breeders in the community but no one has heard of them??? If he were just doing pets shop quality animals in Bulk sure, but he has some of the Highest End projects and in Qtys???? Seems a bit odd don't you think? Or am I the only person who feels like this.

Plus I never said he did not have what he claims. He just might have all of it for all I know??? But at this point in time I cannot confirm it.

Like I said to Paul My issue is the Morph naming, displaying it to the public as new morph then not disclosing what the morph is. Thats my only problem.
