That's good. Mine won't go in it when he sheds so I have to put a moist paper towel in his hide with him.

Ebay is awesome... I've used it for many things since it's start. I have never had a problem that wasn't resolved promptly by a seller with excellent feedback.

The key is to read the feedback of a seller.

I guess I'll just go with paper towels as bedding. Another thing is im afraid to leave the heat lamp on all night. I dont mind leaving the under the tank heater running at night though. I am going to dumb the sand out of the cage. My husband dont think thats very nice of the pet store to sell me stuff I didn't need. Also would it be okay to use rocks I find outside for the geckos cage as long as I sterilize them before I put the rock in the cage?

Definetally a bad idea for the rocks. If they are small enough for the animal to fit in their mouth they could ingest it and get impacted. Plus taking anything from outside and bringing it inside to put in your tank is usually a bit tricky, the only way to ever really make sure it's sterile is to bake it. There could be bugs, parasites, mold, and other nasty things you could be bringing in from the outside that could make your pet sick.

I would definetally suggest the tile. It's cheap and you can get it cut for free at lowes or home depot.I used the reptile carpet for ages in some of my tanks and switched over recently due to someone pointing out that the carpet never really comes clean even when you wash it. This stuff you can take out and wipe down and bleach and you're good.

Just an example of how well this stuff conducts heat - We have a little sunglow girl who barely had an appatite. It was a struggle to get her to eat. Ever since we switched over she gobbles anything and everything we put in for her. Even just picking her up she feels -way- warmer than she did. And her temps were at 90 before, this stuff just helps hold the heat, she loves laying on the warm side. Since heat helps them digest, it's helped her pack on the weigh she just wasn't gaining before.

Bought a supposed new phone from a person with 99.3% positive feedback. Got the phone.Malfunction.Called Verizon and the phone had been activated 6 other times. Got a new one shipped and it didn't work:) Raised enough heck and got my money back.

Are uth's soposed to take a little bit to heat up? Also the ladies at the pet supplies plus was like yea but you still need a daytime basking bulb. I was like well I read on the internet were you dont and she goes like whatever. And is it safe to leave the uth on all the time?

I have a pet supplies plus near me and was told the same thing. But the worker at my store didn't have that attitude. Got my gecko from pet supplies plus. They were using their method and my gecko was just asleep there. Must more active and lively now that I do the correct way.

Also I find this quite funny. You know how each label they tell the price and breifly a little info about the animal. Well they had a different type of gecko really close to the leopard gecko and on the card were it says the price it says do not use sand. Guess what they have in the cage? SAND. And bright basking bulbs.
