I honestly think its the father causing this oddity. This isn't the first gecko that Ive had from him that's looked unusual. He's been paired up with my jungle snow female as well this year, and she has laid me 3 good eggs that's hatched so far. (well she's laid more but the first few wasn't any good as it was her first time laying as well). All 3 of those eggs appeard to be normal jungles het raptors at first. But then the black turned lavender and the yellow is turning white.

I thought I understood leopard geckos and their genetics.
This has me stumped. I'm curious to see how the little one ends up turning out.

That's what I was guessing myself. Just cause it doesn't make sense doesn't mean its not possible. lol Ive learned no one knows everything about genetics and I'm sure as heck not one of those people that knows it all. I'm made to feel stupid all the time when it comes to genetics. Just when I think I have something figured out, mother nature laughs in my face and throws me for a loop.
