Oats and Mealworms

So i've been reading that some of you put oats in with your mealies to feed them? is that right? i'm confused on how to really feed mealies and what bedding they need in their containers. I understand how to take care of crickets, but not mealies. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!

You mean in with the bedding?
They're *meal*worms, I'm guessing they'll eat what they're in. They're usually in wheat bran when you buy 'em.

So is it alright to use rolled oats? Should i put them in a blender to make them finer, or is it alright to leave them how they are?

its fine to leave them the way they are

I breed them as well for my two Leos. I keep them on oat bran from the health food store and put in some "match stick" carrots for moisture. They will eat both.
