This is what I woke up to this morning, and having all the mountains of snow around doesn't help at all either, because the wind becomes even colder when blowing off the snow, it's so cold that your body actually hurts!

I'd cry while doing my paper route today, but the tears would freeze my contacts! I'm 1 mile from the ocean & about 1/2 my route is on the water. At least it said the temp is 2 & feels like 2. No wind in the winter is a good wind!

well, I thought I was cold yesterday morning! It was 39! That's cold for us Floridians! It's up to the mid 70s today though...I think it's too hot here for the season.

*gasp* I'm pretty sure I would die in 2 degree weather. I don't think I've been in anything colder than 20 and even that was beyond miserable.

Ah the winter in the north :main_thumbsdown: I woke up yesterday and it stayed 68 in my house all day until I walked the dog....... BRRRR ;)

2 degrees isn't too bad with layers, hat and gloves, but add wind and it's just too damb miserable to deal with.

I don't understand how the low was 18, but it was 2 degrees?:huh2:

Well, it's about 11:30 where I'm at right now, and as I look at our digital thermometer, it tells me it's 17.4 F outside. With a recorded high of 17.4 (climbing though, someone must of reset it last night). but... it has a recorded low of -15.5..... BRR!!! :X

Plus I don't think it's risen above 30 degrees for the past few weeks, at least not since it snowed.

I guess I'm one of the few that LOVE the cold. I still use my mountain bike 6 miles to go to work. I love to go over to my dad's house and shovel snow for 2 hours. You start shovelling all bundled up and end up with just a sweater and gloves by the time you're done.:D We had a snow storm here in the midwest over the weekend and there's still a lot of snow on the ground. We had basketball practice yesterday and I left the school with shorts and my coat. Everyone thought I was nuts.

Long story short, I would rather take a cold day in January than a hot day in July.:main_thumbsup:

Ugh! I thought it was cold here!
I've been around reptiles too long. It hit 40 degrees here last night and I was frozen solid! I don't know how ya'll are doing it.

Gonna go into brumation and not come out 'til April...

Man it was cold this morning at like 7:00. Me and my friend walked to the bus stop and we could feel the insides of our noses freezing. My hair was still a little wet from the shower and my hair froze lol. I hope it warms up soon.

Have you ever been outside when it's so cold, you scrunch your nose and when you relax your face it takes a split second longer for your face to go back to normal? Feels kind of cool. Like your muscles in your face are so cold that they don't or can't react as fast. Same thing when you smile.

Or how about when you wear a leather jacket and it CRUNCHES everytime you move. My leather gets so stiff it'll crunch but once I'm inside it will get back to normal.

Where in from you develope thick blood! You guys and gals in Florida have thin blood! lol

I remember one year in Chicago (where i lived) it hit -80 with the wind chill. I remember not many cars started, and no one was outside. Within seocnds any exposed skin froze and started stinging like crazy.:main_thumbsdown:
