It is a toad, probably a young Marine toad (Rhinella marina).

I thought it was Bufo marinas!?!?!

And it is not a marine toad. Its a southern toad, you see the raised paratoid glands? That has southern toad written all over it lol. Marine toads have larger and flat paratoid glands.

It could POSSIBLY be another toad... But I need to know where you live first. :main_laugh:

Not anymore, the genus Bufo has been split up. Bufo is now restricted to old world toads only, Bufo marinus and relatives have been moved to Rhinella, most North American toads are now Anaxyrus. The toad in question may be a native toad, I just assume marine toad when I see Florida because they pretty much ate all the native toads.

Yeah, that's a Southern Toad. The Southern Toads are darker than the marine toads. Nice catch!
