Robert...a lack of time is NEVER an excuse for neglect. People get arrested for letting their dogs get in that condition...and the dogs get taken away. What makes you think what you've allowed to happen is ok in ANY way??? What makes you think anyone is going to buy these neglected animals from you??? What you've done to them is CRIMINAL as far as I'm concerned, and you deserve every bit of bashing you've recieved.

I was very weary of having my last name on here...but I felt compelled to respond to this

There are a few types of people in this world I can't stand, and people that neglect and abuse animals are high up there

You should be ASHAMED of yourself, Robert.

I'm new to geckos and I can tell that they are not healthy

And then to try and turn around and profit from those poor little geckos that never did anything wrong to you??

I say...poo on you!

See, my thing is that no matter what it was wrong, the animals were not properly cared for, they were not fed on a regular basis but no amount of attacks or name calling will change any of that now. To keep on with the name calling and attacks do nothing but make everyone else that has or will make mistake less likely to admit it and ask for help.

He already said he would have them tested for parasites and treated if needed and post the vet findings here. If he doesn;t follow through with that attack him for that. Because at this stange of the events what more can you ask for? He can't fix it or go back and change it.

Yeah, as keepers we are outraged and upset about this situation but attacking him will only lead others to say nothing at out of fear and just let them die.

Im off my rant now, I have at this time more important things to worry about that.

i'm so sad if robert has got some personal problems...
..but...
is not ethic try to sell geckos in those condition...
the question is not his personal life, but his action regarding those geckos now
btw..i has got a really bad moment too some years ago..personal problems...
i give for free all my animals before to putting them in bad condition...i lost a ton of money..but they are safe and healthy in their new house...
so, robert, you need to take care of them, to check them for be sure that they don't have other problems and , when they will be healthy again you can try to sell them (but you spend in my opinion a toooon of money for those geckos )..or...you need to found who can take them for free for take the correct care that they need in this moment..
and i think geckos that camong from those condition are not allowed to be breed in their future (expecially the female)..

The purpose of the attacks is to show that we reject his practice and make him realise the responsibility that lies on oneself when you have an animal so it doesn't happen again, more than simply harassing him. You can't praise or be understanding with someone that sells starved geckos, or let him to continue selling them so someone buys them and he thinks he can sell ill geckos and nothing happens.

However, if he is determined to improve the situation of his animals, I'm willing to give him advice on everything he wants to know and will gladly welcome him to the forums. And I think that everyone here feels the same.

They say that 'to rectify is of wise people' and also 'let those who have never sinned throw the first stone'.
