I didn't get a chance to post a photo of our second fatty, I've been busy. Here is a new photo of the first little guy that hatched:
And here is his clutchmate that hatched later that day, a little Striped Amel woo
We're really excited about them, and we should have a few more soon.
Oh, I remember someone asking what temp they were incubated at...89*
Also, has anyone had any luck getting these guys to eat mealworms from a bowl as hatchlings. We can get them to eat a couple with tweezers, but they wont eat from their bowls. I'd would really like to stay away from crickets, but if we must, we will. We also thought about using a smaller paper towel piece (vs a full one for humidity) and letting the mealies run around loose. We're going to try that first. Hopefully they will be able to find them running around.
