Here is a pic of our 125, we are currently keeping African cichlids in it, as well as 2 clown loaches, and albino plecostomus and an albino bicher. We are having sooo much fun with it! Thanks Paul! (I got the tank from Paul). Anyone else keep Africans?

Very nice tank, Kelli! I used to keep african cichlids. They are wonderful fish....so many different colors and I love how active they are.
My friend just gave me his 125 :). He only had it for about a year! I am going to use it as an upgrade for my FRT.

I keep africans. I have a 55 gal. Currently I have my 8" jack Dempsy in with them because I loved him too much to part with when I re did my tank..he does fine with every one. I also have 2 jewels and an EB Ahli.

Very nice tank Kelli. I love that albino pleco, the albino brislenose are my all time favorite pleco. I currently don't keep African's but I do keep Badis which look pretty much the same but different colors and are much smaller. I'm also setting up a shrimp tank for Cherry Shrimps and one for Daphias for my Killifish project I'm hoping on doing.

That is a nice tank. 125 is my dream tank size.
I don't keep cichlids, but I have 5 Bichirs, and they're all great.

How big is your albino?

Nice tank Kelli, I like chilchids but have never kept any. Before I got into reptiles I had a small (20 gal) Angel fish tank. But one winter we got a nasty storm and it knocked the power out for a while and they froze... :(. It really sucked... but seeing your tank makes me think about starting up another small tank... LOL just what I need... another pet project...

Cory cats are my fave though :D!

That tank is gorgeous, Im jealous and miss my big tanks and big fish, you are doing a great job with it and getting somce really nice fishies but I don't like anything red eyed so I wouldn't be able to have the albino pleco in my house lol

I think you know Kelli, but I'm a HUGE cichlids nut! I just can't get enough of them, but you know I'm going to have to out-do you on this huh? I think I'm going to fill up my 180 (finally, it's been two months since we moved) and put some cichlids in it. Not just nay cichlids, but Paretroplus menarambo, an extinct cichlid native to Madagascar. I'll through in a few others, complete with some Malagasy rainbow fish. Really though, I like your choice in fish, CICHLIDS ROCK!

Looks awesome Kelli! I did have Africans along with a nice Jack Dempsey, however my son decided to help feed them, and I didn't realize he was feeding them too. Until I looked into the tank one day and noticed half the food from the jar in the tank, and dead fish!!!! I asked Zach if he had been feeding the fish (I already knew the answer)... "Ummmm Yes Mom. They looked hungry, but they didn't eat all the food!" I wonder why? *Bangs Head*

Love the tank! I use to breed a few Mbuna species and kept a few different 75 gallon Cichlid community tanks (2 Tanganyika, 1 C.A., 2 S.A.). I really miss them and once I move to a house rather than my dinky apartment I'll get them again. I also had a Discus tank with 100+ Cardinal Tetras and a Stingray (P. motoro) tank with a big Black Arowana. I inherited all the tanks and equipment from my aunt who breed lots of fish for pet stores. Sadly this was 8-10 years ago and I didn't have a digital camera...
