So for example, lets say a female ovulates mid january, then stops like mid march (but was not bred during this time). Could they ovulate again in June? Just curious...
I've wondered this too. I have a female that bred in Oct, laid three clutch's and then did not vis show any new eggs forming, about a week away from when the next set were to be laid. I rebred her and she is now holding new eggs. Has anyone had this happen?
I have tried to induce it, but I have never managed to achieve it. I do not expect to bother tweaking the process, either, since I am actually less interested in volume these days.
Actually right before a leopard gecko lays a single clutch of eggs, they ovulate... So technically leopard geckos ovulate several times in one season...
