I think Brittney just found it funny that the videographer chose to keep the name of our beloved forum out of his mouth. I can't say for sure, that's just what I got from it. I don't know about people's underlying issues with one another, but why bother with any of that? I love all of you GFers, especially the one's (if there are any) who can't stand me, because they need the most hugs. :main_laugh: I truly don't think it was meant to be taken as a slight toward GF, but who's to say? I dont know the drama between the forums and Matt or Brittney but GF.net was never mentioned. He and she could have directly referenced GF.net and they didn't. I can see how people could take that comment the wrong way though. Maybe Brittney will explain her take on this and clear up any chance for misinterpretation.

Life is too short for needless drama.

If you know me well then you know that I like to joke around with my friends. Matt is my friend even if he is no longer on geckoforums. I don't feel I should have to explain this but since this attack has been made I will of course defend myself.

Matt and I have an inside joke about how he won't mention the name of "geckoforums", with me in contrast being a very active member here. Therefore it was "CLASSIC MATT" to say something like that and thus my comment on it and as you can see that was only one of several things I was joking about to Matt.

So again, life is too short, and I hope we can all now move on with our lives.

This is the only comment I'm going to make about this matter.

I just don't understand this at all. This sucks. As far as any history goes, Matt can't stand me or this website because he was banned for breaking TOS numerous times. Yet despite the fact that he doesn't like GF, he continues to register new "alias" usernames so that he can post here. What the hell? If he's so unhappy with this place and the way we run it then why does he keep signing back up with new names? Anyway I hope that explains (in a nutshell) why Matt is unhappy with this site. I have no idea why anyone else has a problem, It seems the ones that complain about this place are the ones that cause the majority of the drama and problems. Whatever, in the big scheme of life it really doesn't matter that much.

Matt's comment was directed towards GF.net and Brittney's was directed at Matt. So it becomes a question of was Brittney laughing at GF.net or at Matt and /or his comment.

I laugh when Chris Rock does a standup about racism. That doesn't make me a racist, does it?

None taken (by me ) You're right; the computer doesn't afford us the ability to see or hear when people "speak" (or type), so it's easy to jump to conclusions when people post stuff like that.

This is a good reminder to EVERYONE that it's always a good idea to REALLY think things through before posting them on ANY public forum, so that "misunderstandings" are fewer and farer between.
