SO 1 day ago i hatched out this weird looking albino patternless. Its parents were enigma double het bell/patty and mom was a LVPA. One would ask how is this possible, well i dont know. I bred the female myself and know there is NO bell/tremper lines in there. The dad i bought from kelli, and i more then trust her genetics.

Unfortunetly this little one hatched 1-2 days premature. which you can see the yolk sac in the pics, and passed away when i was at work. But i was able to get pics before:{ I thought about this little one being las vegas but the eyes are very much like a bell.

Let me know your thoughts.

Thats definitely something new, is it possible it was a Premature Enigma Patty? Its color makes it seem almost Mack-ish.

Is it possible that the pigment in the eyes has not set in yet giving it an albino eyes look? That gecko looks mack and you state that mom was a lvpa, so it's apparent that the color hasn't set in on the body yet, why not they eyes too?

just my humble thoughts on it and what makes the most sense to me with that cross.

The mom was plus/minus a snow, she is one of those on the edge leos. So im not 100% sure she isnt mack, only more clutches will tell. I did toy around with the eyes being due to the premature state, but he is only approx 24 hours premature. But who know what they should look like at that point, you would think they would be almost set, but....

I'm 99% sure the male you got from me has no Rainwater genes in him. The only possibility of that would be if one of the parents (Bell Enigma male, Patty female) was Het RW, but to my knowledge they are not.

It does look like a Patternless Albino to me, not an Enigma though.

It was a one egg clutch. I do have another set due in 15 days. And hopefully more one the way.

The only other gecko i have hatched from similar genetics was an enigma het lvpa, was from a lvpa snow cross to the same male

:curtain: :curtain: <---- sry I thought this smiley fit the thread. I'm sure I speak for the rest when I say I'm just as confused as you are. Shame the baby didn't make it.

It does look like a patty albino, though I'm not understanding why you say Bell when the mom has no bell in her. Though if there's no LV in dad who knows what's going on. Definately let us know when the other eggs hatch.

i had the displeasure of finding the little guy and breaking the news when i went to check on him for pat. definatly disheartening, he was neat little bugger to see just wish i had seen him moving. the eyes def have bell appearance though
